Making Dennis Energy Smart – More on Green Jobs

Here is an article in this morning’s Boston Globe online, Renewable job market, it shows that the green employment sector continues to grow even during the recession.  The proposed zoning change to attract these companies to the Dennis Industrial District seeks to attract these employers to our town.

The Dennis Alternative Energy Committee is working on a zoning change to expand the use of wind power in Dennis.  However, the Alternative Energy Committee has its sites set much higher than just wind power.  They have been actively working on Solar Energy issues and the use of Biodiesel has also been discussed.
