At last week’s Economic Development Committee a few changes were suggested to the proposed zoning. These changes dealt with:
- roof-line issues in all districts to ensure that, when the maximum height is pursued that there is a clear starting point for the beginning of the roof line; and
- the usage of the upper level areas in the Route 28 and West Dennis Hotel Resort Areas will be allowed to match that of the Dennisport Village Center which allows the upper level to be 65% of the floor area immediately below.

Also, there will be a meeting of the Zoning By-law Study Committee and Economic Development Committee on Thursday July 29th at 1 pm. The meeting will occur starting at the Chase Avenue Parking Lot for Sea View Park and will focus on understanding the height issues proposed for the Chase Avenue area.
