Vibrant downtowns are perfect fits for technology firms

Just wondering, is it time to rethink the uses in Dennis Port and West Dennis? Maybe look to bring some tech sector or back office jobs into the empty storefront by Job Lot. It could mean more customers for the retail space in the two villages. Thoughts?

  1. Just about anything is better than a 16,000 sq, ft. empty building. I think Griswold’s gas station is still the number one priority as the main entrance into Dennis Port for those heading west on Rt.28. We are still having a big problem with the “Park People”. They have basically taken over the bus stop. They pass out on the benches downtown in mid afternoon. This is a very serious problem that has to be addressed.
Back to the empty building, any company or firm with a number of employees would obviously be a big boost to the downtown economy.
